The Huree University Story
Founded with a vision for Mongolia’s future
Huree University began with a vision to prepare skilled professionals for Mongolia’s development in the information and communication era.
In 2001, Dr. Professor Kim Young Kwon, a citizen of the Republic of Korea, came to Mongolia with a vision to establish a higher education institution in the field of information and communication technology, a field essential for Mongolia’s future development.
He submitted a request to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science at that time, and on March 28, 2002, official approval was granted. This became the foundation for what is now Huree University of Information and Communication Technology, established with full investment from the Republic of Korea.
